Boney M - Gotta Go Home
The lead "singer" of Boney M just died the other day. The hugely popular band was produced by the same guy who created Milli Vanilli, hence my quotations. This song was sampled earlier this year in the smash club hit "Barbra Streisand" by Duck Sauce.
The Ting Tings - Hands (Michael Woods Remix)
Like the song above, this remix is rotten with arpeggiated keyboard effects. And I mean that in the best possible way. Nice to hear the Tings coming back for round two. Hopefully their initial MTV exposure will blow them up a little more this year.
