A very unusual direction for Debbie, and perhaps the strangest thing she ever recorded. This is a voodoo chant sung in - what I assume is - Creole? Kind of amazing - I especially like the change in meter half way thru.
David Byrne - Song For The Trees
An solo song from around the time that Talking Heads were wrapping things up. Again, a strange recording, but what a pretty melody! And I love the night time insects buzzing about.
